I’ve been playing around with a bunch of the sites I’ve been maintaining recently, and I thought it was time to breathe some fresh life into this site. Calgary is such an important part of my life, and I’d like to make more time writing about it more.

It started when I stumbled across a new blogging engine called Hugo, and I found that it made the blogging process so much easier for my site dafyddcrosby.com. Once that became clear, I decided to try it on Lonesome Cosmonaut. I’ve been happy with the writing results, and while I had planned on a straight port to move the old site theme over, I think this is a great time to transition to something new, too.

Calgary has changed a ton since this site started in 2007, so this site is due for a bit of change, too.
